Quiet Love
By
Mary Bennett
Your quiet love is sunshine,
Breaking through the clouds on a cloudy day.
Your quiet love is a smile,
That I see in your eyes when you look my way.
But who could see the heavenly things,
Or the warmth and trust that your loving brings?
For the promises we look forward to,
Make us two who are bound to stay together.
Your quiet love is sharing,
Your dreams for a future including me.
Your quiet love is a shining jewel,
On a ring that is round like eternity.
But who could see the heavenly things,
Or the warm and trust that your loving brings?
For the promises we'll exchange today,
Make us two who are bound to stay together.
Our quiet love is touching,
As we move side by side down the path of life.
Our quiet love is a family,
And the joy that we'll feel being man and wife.
When Heaven calls and one moves on,
There are ties that bind us for ever strong.
For our quiet love is eternal love.
We are two who are bound to stay together.
We are two in eternal love forever.
